Majestic Lion Portrait

International President Mark Lyon has announced three key Weeks of Service for the 2026–2027 Lions year, highlighting areas of service that can make a meaningful difference in communities around the world.

Throughout his year as International President of Lions International, President Lyon is encouraging Lions and Leos to come together through service projects focused on three important priorities:

Vision — October 8–18, 2026
Lions will kick off the year by focusing on vision-related service. Clubs are encouraged to organize projects that help improve access to vision care and support those facing challenges with their sight.

Youth — February 13–21, 2027
The Youth Week of Service will focus on supporting children and young people. Lions and Leos are encouraged to develop projects that benefit youth and help create opportunities for the next generation.

Environment — May 29–June 6, 2027
The final Week of Service will focus on protecting our environment and building a more sustainable future. Clubs can participate in projects promoting environmental awareness, education, conservation and community improvement.

These Weeks of Service provide Lions and Leos with opportunities to unite around common causes while making a positive impact locally and globally. Clubs are encouraged to begin planning early and use Lions International's service resources to develop projects that meet the needs of their communities.

Together, Lions can turn these three focus areas into meaningful acts of service throughout the 2026–2027 year.
